Working at Kenaitze
With about 400 full-time, part-time and seasonal employees, the Kenaitze Indian Tribe offers a wide range of career paths.
We are located in the city of Kenai, on Alaska’s Kenai Peninsula. The Kahtnuht’ana Dena’ina people call this place Yaghanen, which means “the Good Land.” Kenai and neighboring Soldotna, provide many big-city amenities with a small-town feel, while world-class outdoor recreation is just a few steps from our front door.
Four core values – family, stewardship, spiritual belief and education – help shape our decisions and guide all we do. Our mission is to assure Kahtnuht’ana Dena’ina thrive forever.
Preference shall be given to eligible and qualified Kenaitze Tribal Member, Tribal Member Spouse, Alaska Native and American Indian applicants pursuant to TERO Ordinance 2017-01 and P.L. 93-638 Indian Self-Determination Act.
