“Ch’k’denełyah yuyeh” is a Dena’ina phrase the means “we grow things inside.” At the Ch’k’denełyah yuyeh Greenhouses and surrounding gardens, we grow food that is used in lunches for our Elders at Tyotkas Elder Center. Some of the produce is shared with those in need through the Na’ini Social Services Food Cache. We also grow traditional plants for use in Tribal programs.
The Ch’k’denełyah yuyeh Greenhouses are located at Shanteh t’uh, the Tribe’s property at the end of North Ames Road in Kenai.
