This Privacy Statement describes how the Kenaitze Indian Tribe (“KIT”, “we,” “our,” or “us”) collects, uses, and discloses information when you use our website, social media and SMS text messaging services (collectively, the “Services”). We use these Services as a method to communicate news, updates, and opportunities. By using our Services, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this statement.
This Privacy Statement is meant to help you understand what information we collect, how we use that information, third parties with whom we may share the information, and why we collect it. If you use our Services, then you agree to the collection and use of information as set forth in this Privacy Statement. If you do not agree with this Privacy Statement, do not access or use the Services.

When you use our Services, we may collect several types of information to facilitate communication and improve your experience:

Kenaitze Indian Tribe will not share consumer opt-in data and consent with any third parties for their own use case; excluding aggregators and providers of the Text Messaging services.
- SMS and Mobile Data Consent & Terms
When you opt-in to text us, you agree to receive text messages related to news, updates, and opportunities related to care or services provided by the Kenaitze Indian Tribe.
You can cancel the SMS service at any time. Just text “STOP”. After you send the SMS message “STOP” to us, we will send you an SMS message to confirm that you have been unsubscribed. After this, you will no longer receive SMS messages from us. If you want to join again, just sign up as you did the first time and we will start sending SMS messages to you again.

Phone carriers and the Kenaitze Indian Tribe are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Message and data rates may apply for any messages sent to you from us and to us from you. If you have any questions about your text plan or data plan, it is best to contact your wireless provider.
- Third-Party Websites and Services
Our app or messages may contain links to third-party websites or services. If you click on a third-party link, you will be directed to that site. Note that these external sites are not operated by us. Therefore, we strongly advise you to review the privacy policy of these websites. We have no control over and assume no responsibility for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party sites or services.
- Children’s Privacy
Our Services are not directed to individuals under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn the application has collected personal information from a child under the age of 13, we will promptly delete this information.

We may update our Privacy Statement from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Statement on this page and updating the “Effective Date” at the top. You are advised to review this Privacy Statement periodically for any changes.
