Job Summary:
Working in conjunction with the Executive Director, the Grant Writer is responsible for developing funding proposals for submission to public and private granting agencies to further the accomplishment of the Tribe's goals and objectives.

Essential Duties: Researches government and private sector funding sources for identified needs areas/projects. Notifies Executive Director and Program Directors of available funding and open funding competitions on an ongoing basis. Writes, assembles and submits grant proposals as authorized by the Executive Director and in accordance with all applicable funding solicitation requirements and regulations. Meets with Finance Director & Program Directors to develop accurate and realistic budgets. |
Qualifications, required skills, abilities: Bachelor's degree in relevant field (human services, management, business, public health, planning, etc.), year for year related work experience may substitute. Minimum of two years of grant writing experience. Experience with new program development and project management, budgeting and basic statistics. Basic familiarity with major governmental funding sources, grant application process, and with federal regulatory environment regarding grants. |

Essential Duties: Provide and document direct nursing care of assigned patients under the supervision of a provider. Nursing care is guided by the provider orders and the nursing plan of care. Patient response to care is reported to a provider for evaluation, intervention and modification of the plan of care. Assist other health care personnel in the delivery of patient care. |
Qualifications, required skills, abilities: Graduation from an accredited Registered or Practical Nurse program. Current Alaska RN or LPN licensure. One year of Nursing experience preferred. Job Summary:
Under the supervision of the Mental Health Clinicians, Individual Skill Providers are responsible for the efficient and effective delivery of a continuum para-professional services. The Individual Skill Providers are accountable to insure that their progress notes meet standards as specified in grants and contracts, applicable professional statutes and regulations, KIT policies and procedures, and professional ethics. The Individual Skill Provider serves as part of the NFC Management Team, advising on para-professional services including development of students, as well as participating in the development of student awareness. The Individual Skill Provider is responsible for maintaining an on-going positive relationship with schools and other agencies within our service delivery system.

Essential Duties: Coordinate ISP's daily schedule, along with individual clients who have various behavior issues in the community and school settings. Document through progress notes on a daily basis client's behavior. Ensure that all notes for ISP's are following Medicaid requirements (date, time, place, units, DAP format) and are turned in on a daily basis. Provides support of the financial and reimbursement requirements including support coding and billing functions. Keep case records up to date. |

Job Summary:
Tribal Advocates are responsible for the efficient and effective delivery of a continuum of clinical and para-professional services. The Tribal Advocates are accountable to insure that their open files meet standards as specified in grants and contracts, applicable professional statutes and regulations, KIT policies and procedures, and professional ethics. The Tribal Advocates are responsible for delivery of a variety of in-home services, parenting classes, case management and family support. They will be expected to respond to referrals in a timely manner and to engage in ongoing Clinical supervision provided by the agency. The Tribal Advocates are responsible for maintaining on-going relationships with other agencies within our service delivery system.

Job Summary:
Under the supervision of the Director of Nakenu Family Services, Mental Health Clinicians are responsible for the efficient and effective delivery of a continuum of clinical services. The Mental Health Clinician is accountable to insure that programs are operated as specified in grants and contracts in accordance with constraints imposed by budgets, applicable statutes and regulations, KIT policies and procedures, and professional ethics. The Mental Health Clinician serves as part of the NFC Management Team, advising on clinical services to include development of new programs, as well as participating in the development of center-wide policies and procedures. Mental Health Clinicians are responsible for efficient and effective service delivery through design of delivery systems, assistance of recruitment and selection of ISP staff.

Essential Duties: Provide assessment through a variety of psychological and/or psychosocial evaluation techniques. Provide counseling through a variety of treatment modalities, including group work. Promotes good relations with staff and community agencies. |
Qualifications, required skills, abilities: Masters in Mental Health required. Licensed as a Mental Health Professional in Alaska or eligible for license preferred. One year post master's experience providing Mental Health direct services including experience working with victims of domestic violence and drug and alcohol programs preferred.
